Mechanism of WCC MAP

The microneedle/microarray patch (MAP) is an innovative transdermal technology that outperforms traditional methods like regular patches, creams, and injections. Compared to these, MAPs excel in delivering drugs or essences effectively and painlessly by penetrating the skin, ensuring efficient delivery into the body.

Unlike injections, MAPs eliminate the fear of needles while offering precise drug or vaccine delivery, matching the performance of conventional injections. Notably, the microarray patch has earned recognition from VIPS, an international alliance consisting of five major healthcare organizations, as the top choice for vaccine alternatives due to its outstanding capabilities.

新穎下藥平台-微針透膚給藥系統

微陣列貼片為一新穎下藥平台,此一藥物傳遞方式有別於傳統經皮吸收,貼片上有數百支微針可穿刺角質層並達表皮層後釋放藥物。除能避免角質層的阻擋,亦可提高藥物穿透表皮的濃度,且所傳遞藥物不受限於脂溶性或水溶性。微陣列貼片上每根微針不超過1000 μm長度,不會觸碰到皮下組織神經痛感系統,達到減痛下藥的目的。
怡定興科技具有特殊之多層微針生產技術,以FDA核准之醫療級高分子材料,有效量產微針貼片做為醫美、醫藥、疫苗及量測系統產品之載具,透過20道以上專業工序,可維持95 %以上之良率。怡定興科技可依不同需求調整針型、針高、貼片形狀及排列等達成精準控制藥物釋放量。本公司多段結構微針已申請多國專利,目前公司已建立日產上萬片微針貼片之量產能力,在國際上具領先地位。

醫美貼片

技術發展

亞太區域醫美市場發展迅速,其中以抗老化、除皺、淡斑等為主要開發重點。本公司已與某上市公司合作開發淡斑貼片,並已完成量產線技轉,該產品已於2019上市。本公司亦開發含不同功能貼片產品,除單獨使用外,亦可配合醫美產品如特殊面霜或精華液使用,可達到有效醫美之功效。

技術發展

本公司執行新竹科學園區計畫,以貼片攜帶胰島素,目的是可使糖尿病患無痛使用,初步完成分析具有良好之使用性,目前正在研發提高一片之帶藥量,便有利於糖尿病患攜帶使用。本公司另行研發止痛貼片,將現有OTC販賣之貼片成份止痛藥物內置於貼片中,可以取代現有貼片功能不足及口服止痛藥傷胃等不適之處,已進入動物臨床實驗之中,目前證實較傳統貼片之吸收效率大十倍以上。

疫苗微針

技術發展

根據Greystone研究調查指出,微針用藥市場占比最大為疫苗應用。本公司已獲經濟部SBIR補助,並與國家衛生研究院共同開發腸病毒71型疫苗微針貼片,初步成果證明安定性及吸收率皆極佳。目前本公司與國內知名疫苗大廠共同開發COVID-19微針疫苗貼片,已進入動物臨床實驗。

微陣列貼片可用於人體皮膚下無痛取出組織液(Intervisited fluid, ISF),以為分析人體內各關鍵參數和尿毒值,及各種蛋白質成分數值等。全球先進國家第二型糖尿病患人數逐日攀升,患者每日血糖值易受環境及飲食影響,知名醫學雜誌說明每日扎指採血檢測易讓糖尿病患產生”下一秒有根針刺穿手指”之恐懼感,年長患者若要每日採血,不僅使用不便,長期將增加感染風險,故醫藥界致力於發展非侵入式檢測方法。本公司已與國內首屈一指之學術及醫學單位展開合作,開發微針貼片自皮膚取出組織液,快速量測其中重要參數(如血糖值、pH值等),並經大數據分析,與血液中之相關數值建立相連性,以建立近乎無痛微針量測系統。
